Improvement of educational conditions at the "Sonechko" kindergarten in Verkhovyna city, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

In the south of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, in the heart of the great Carpathian arc, there is the Verkhovyna district, the highest and most remote area of our region. The district's administrative center is the town of Verkhovyna. As of 01.01.2019, 5750 people lived in the village, including 2837 men and 2913 women. The town has 7 educational institutions, 1 kindergarten, 1 hospital, 2 rural health posts, 3 cultural institutions, and 3 libraries. The Verkhovyna town council needs the most funds for major repairs of educational and preschool institutions, as most of the buildings were put into operation in the 70s and 80s of the last century. While communicating with local authorities and residents, we realized that the kindergarten “Sonechko” needs major repairs. This institution was built in 1972.
