Project Goal::
To improve energy policy in mountainous communities in the Ivano-Frankivsk region by improving tools related to reducing energy consumption through energy-saving measures.

Project results::
1. The experience of implementing energy-saving measures in the Slovak Republic, in particular in the city of Košice, was presented.
2. Awareness of local government representatives of the target districts on energy saving and sustainable energy consumption was raised;
3. Cooperation between non-governmental organizations in the Ivano-Frankivsk region and the Košice region on environmental issues has been improved.
4. Awareness was raised among schoolchildren in Bohorodchany district (Manyava village), Verkhovyna district (Verkhovyna village), and Rozhnyativ district (Rozhnyativ village) on environmental issues and the use of alternative energy sources;
5. Recommendations for the sustainable use of energy resources in the Ivano-Frankivsk region and the use of alternative energy sources were developed.
