Environmental Tax Revenues in Ukraine Exceed UAH 1.5 Billion for Environmental Protection

In 2026, Ukrainian enterprises paid more than UAH 1.5 billion in environmental taxes, 6.8% higher than the previous year.
The Ivano-Frankivsk region is also among the regions making a significant contribution to the environmental fund, allocating over UAH 150 million in such payments.
The environmental tax is generated by emissions into the air, discharges into water bodies, and other environmental impacts. These funds are intended to support environmental protection measures, particularly in water resources.
In the context of growing environmental challenges, including water pollution and climate change, the effective use of these funds is becoming increasingly important.
Our organization is also contributing to this effort by implementing a project to monitor small rivers in the Ivano-Frankivsk region and by raising environmental awareness among local communities.
