Youth Public Environmental Organization “Our Home - Manyava” in partnership with the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise “Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Perinatal Center of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council,” is implementing the project “Provision of Medical Equipment to the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Perinatal Center.” This initiative became possible thanks to the support of the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine within the framework of Grant Assistance for Human Security Projects of the Grassroots Program “KUSANONE”
As part of the project, a neonatal artificial lung ventilation device (AVEA), manufactured by Vyaire Medical Inc. (USA), was purchased and installed at the perinatal center — a vitally important piece of equipment that will help save the lives of infants in need of intensive care.
“Implementing this project will not only improve the quality of medical services we provide but also save the lives of many small patients who need urgent and emergency care. Thanks to international support, we can provide newborns with the most advanced technologies, which are critically important for their health and well-being,” noted Yuriy Pavlushynskyi, General Director of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Perinatal Center.
Mykola Skydaniuk, the organization “Our Home - Manyava” head, added:“For several months, our team, together with the center’s staff, worked on developing the project. This joint effort led to excellent results. We believe that the acquired equipment will save many children’s lives.”

This initiative once again proves that the joint efforts of civil society, medical institutions, and international partners can bring about real change. Thanks to the new equipment, newborns in critical condition will have a chance for a healthy and happy future. This is another critical step toward improving healthcare services in Ukraine.
