As part of technical assistance from the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Ukraine, the laboratory received a FREESTYLE XANA automatic sample feeder module for the FREESTYLE sample preparation system produced by LCTech. This module will be used to prepare samples for chromatographic studies, reducing preparation time and increasing measurement accuracy.
The laboratory also received a portable multimeter SD335 Lovibond and a portable turbidity meter EutechTM TN-100. LLG, a spectrophotometer with cuvette tests, an MD 200 Lovibond thermal reactor, etc. These devices will enable specialists at the sampling site on water bodies to quickly measure temperature, hydrogen index, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, turbidity, and chemical oxygen consumption.
The devices allow for general water quality control both in mobile use and in the laboratory.
The relevance of such efficiency and mobility is enhanced by environmental threats to surface waters in the context of russia's armed aggression and full-scale hostilities in eastern Ukraine.
The State Agency of Ukraine for Water Resources expresses its gratitude to the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) for the equipment provided, which is now essential for ensuring water quality control.
