Recently, at the Carpathian Environmental Education Center, students and teachers of the Manyava Lyceum discussed local environmental problems and possible solutions. Natalia Monastyretska, a teacher of the lyceum and consultant of NGO “Our Home - Manyava”, told the high school students about: International Day of Environmental Knowledge, the role of environmental education in shaping society, environmental culture, local and regional environmental problems, environmental conservation practices, and the main methods of environmental research. 

The lesson “I Explore the Environment of My Community” was held for 3rd-grade students of the Manyava Lyceum. The children learned how to sort garbage properly. They also learned more about the nature reserve sites in Manyava, rare species of plants, fish, animals, and birds in the vicinity of Manyava, and the role of water resources in the biosphere.
