In September 2023, our NGO opened a library on environmental issues at its premises. The library offers a wide range of literature on environmental issues, environmental protection, sustainable development, and green lifestyles. It also has a local lore section, “Ukrainian Carpathians,” which contains literature on environmental issues dedicated to the Carpathians.
At the library, a local history section titled ‘Ukrainian Carpathians’ has been created. It features literature on environmental topics related to the Carpathians.
The library is an important hub for educational and outreach activities aimed at raising environmental awareness among local children and youth. It demonstrates how ecological values can be integrated into community life, providing access to knowledge and resources for all interested.
Project Goal:
This project aims to strengthen the library's institutional capacity and improve the opportunities for the Solotvyn community's children and youth to access environmental literature.
