Сьогодні, 19 вересня, розпочала свою роботу міжнародна Літня Еко-школа «Гірські екосистеми і управління природними ресурсами» , організована the Grassroots Institute (Канада) у партнерстві з молодіжною громадсько-екологічною організацією «Наш дім – Манява» (Україна) та 66 університетами й організаціями з 22 країни світу.
109 лекцій, 100 науковців та експертів з 36 країн, 117 презентацій, 694 слухачі з 73 країн, 27 сесій на такі теми: (1) Гірські екосистеми; (2) Прісноводні екосистеми; (3) Екологію лісу; (4) Екосистеми пасовищ; (5) Збереження біорізноманіття; (6) Управління дикою природою; (7) Екотуризм; (8) Спільне управління ресурсами; (9) Управління вододілами; (10) Стале сільське господарство та органічне сільське господарство; (11) Агробіорізноманіття; (12) Випас та скотарство; (13) Тваринництво; (14) Гірські засоби існування; (15) Гірські конвенції. Карпатська конвенція; (16) Цілі сталого розвитку і гори; (17) Сучасні проблеми гір.
